This publication includes an interview with Hungarian violinist Ernő Sebestyén and recordings of his trio. The artist began playing the violin at the age of four, at the age of nine as an infant prodigy he continued his studies at the Liszt Academy, at the age of nineteen he became a violinist at the Hungarian State Opera, and a few years later he became a concertmaster of it. In the 70’s and 80’s he was the concertmaster in German bands (Deutsche Oper Berlin, Philharmonischen Virtuosen Berlin, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks). He played with, among others, Bernstein, Oistrach, Maazel. After retiring, he returned Hungary and founded the Esterházy Trio. He plays on a Stradivari violin made in 1692. The recording was made with a High-End Pro audio concept for the best sound.
